I have played soccer since I was little. I have played for many teams and for high school, I played for the Salem Sun Devils in Virginia Beach, VA. After high school, I helped coach the girls soccer team at Gulf Breeze High School in FL. I also coached for the Bayside team in Gulf Breeze, FL. I played at Seymour Johnson AFB for a short time in 1999. And the spring of 2000, I played for our 86th Trans Squadron Intramural team here in Germamy. We one second place in the final tournament. At the same time, I was also playing for a town team called Seiglebach. That team fizzled away and in the summer of 2000, I started playing for a town team called Hirschhorn. I was one of two Americans on the team. I played with them until the Ramstein Base team started in February, 2001. For that season I was team captin and played defender. Even though I played last man, I was still good for a few goals every once in a while. With the base team, we get to travel and play the other bases in Europe. This years USAFE Tournament was held in England. So I got to take a permissive TDY for a week to go and play soccer. See photos here. While there I was chosen for the USAFE All Star Team. This years 2002 team has been selected and practices are underway. The season starts the begining on April. I have also been chosen as team captain for this year.
